optimal jackpot pick 6 strategy

Thing is over a million bucks at GGF, at 20 cents a ticket.

It seems to me optimal strategy is to play ONLY combinations that are likely to be single ticket winners, and to play as many of those as you can afford and the card justifies. If the card looks too chalky, don't play at all.

Am I right?

When the card looks too chalky, that may be when it is best to play long shots. In order for you to take down the whole pool a bunch of unexpected events need to occur.

I think the best strategy is to not try to win the whole shebang, but to take advantage of all the money being bet on improbable combos thus raising the payout for the logical winners.

The best pk 6 strategy I would think would be:

1) make certain there is a carry over and/or;

2) it's the last day of the meet or it's the carry over pay out day and;

3) you're able to single at least 3 or more of the legs.

But, I haven't played a pk 6 in years.

Once it gets to this point the strategy should be to simply hit it. Dont sweat only ticket simply play it like a normal pick 6 and hope for the best. Pools are big enough that you get paid nicely even with multiple winners

Yes. End of meet. On their website. If you plan for playing it on Sunday, then you're hoping no single ticket pulls down the pool in the other three days of racing prior to Sunday.....
