Some researchers have found nitrogen in the ground, and blows all the 'settled science' climate models to smithereens.... some climate researchers need a hockey stick up their rump, rather than in their papers.

So the poles are getting warmer, leading to glaciers melting, which leads to cooler water in the oceans mixing with warmer ocean water, which leads to the stormier winters in North America and Europe. A domino effect.

The sun is going into a Great Minimum which is what happened when the mini ice age occurred - lack of sunspot activity.

Our environment is far more dependant on the sun that it is on us.
