I take your point, but it seems many (most?) have a trademark phrase.
"Down the stretch they come!"
"Three of them across the track."
(Even when there's a horse on a 3-length lead.)
"Spinning out of the turn."
(Nothing informational there.)
My all-time favorite:
"If you put your money on number 9, take your ticket and stand on line."
(Trevor had so many.)
"Can see them all" tells a story of how compact the field is. I like it.
But I come back to, "It's a difficult job."
