And this latter point is especially devastating to the dimwits because they were banking on getting those records in order to get Trump off the ballot in November. This was their last hope in "defeating" him apart from the ballot box. As you correctly said, it's not only unlikely...but I would say highly unlikely that they'll get the court to hear their case prior to the election.

How would the disclosure of tax returns disqualify or remove Trump from the ballot? You're implying there is something untoward in said documents? As a Trump supporter, that's a dimwitted argument, one that your vainglorious ego will now attempt to obfuscate with a word salad of nothingness. I'll let you have the last word.

The dimwits have been insisting that "there is something untoward in said documents", which is why they want to see them. (You haven't been paying attention all these months, have you?) But yet, I presented the "dimwitted argument" in all my "vainglorious ego"?
You liberals are a pathetic bunch! Hasn't anyone ever taught you how to think critically? (Rhetorical question.)

Jay Sekulow - Trump's legal Beagle wasn't so upset-
Following the rulings, Trump attorney Jay Sekulow sought to reframe both cases as victories. “We are pleased that in the decisions issued today, the Supreme Court has temporarily blocked both Congress and New York prosecutors from obtaining the President’s financial records,” Sekulow said in a statement to reporters. “We will now proceed to raise additional Constitutional and legal issues in the lower courts.”

I strongly suspect the Trump team got the delay they wanted, knowing that the dimwits would have sold their souls to get this case in a court and get a ruling prior to the election. This is a case with a "shelf life". Wouldn't surprise me if the case is dropped...

It is not a crime to refuse to release your tax returns, unless it's President Trump who is the one doing it. Please let's cut the baloney. It's just another attempt to disenfranchise the millions of Americans who voted for him in 2016.

This is an opportunity for the Democrats to "$peculate" on what's in those returns. And speculation is always worse than the actuality.Or maybe it's not in this case.Call it the Revenge of the Obama Birth Certificate.
I'm of the opinion that politicians should not have to voluntarily release their tax returns. And I'm also of the opinion that your opponents have the right to question that decision.

exactly, and as long as the dems hold the House, they will continue impeachment work as long as Trump is president.
