Treason is a completely acceptable tool of the left.

Democrats DO NOT accept, respect, defend , or abide by the constitution. For political similarities in history, see the rise of the governments of Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Kim Il Sung......processes used by these to get into power provide template the current dems are using.

To love a particular object does not require that you despise all other objects.

While I love this country, by God's grace I will never put this nation above God. The greatest commandment in the bible is not to love one's country, but to love God. This country was founded by fallen human beings; therefore it must always be imperfect. Man-created utopias are a myth. They are pipe dreams of sorely delusional people.

For me (and probably most evangelical Christians), there is only one proper perspective: This nation is only the best of the worst.

Cut away obligatory adherence to political dogma, and people are very complex. That's an unfortunate aspect of our nation's division, we either lose sight of, or outright seek to suppress, the delicious contradictions that make us human.

In my opinion, Tammy both loves AND would seek to dismantle her country (beyond recognition). Two seemingly contradictory things not only CAN be true at once, but usually ARE. To acknowledge this and actually HUMANIZE political opponents and people of other races would NEVER be permitted by either side.

An Analogy: If someone loves the home in which they live, why would they seek to trash it?

By the way, paradoxes can be rationally explained, whereas contradictions are inherently incoherent. Just sayin'....

I'm sure she sees it as more of a "remodeling" process. Agree or disagree-one man's trashing is another's house-cleaning.

Rationality can never prevail without initial acceptance of human imperfection, contradictions included. This whole "gotcha" mentality somehow presupposes that to be worthy of respect and consideration (and this applies to both sides), a person must first have every word and action vetted back to the womb to establish some ridiculously unattainable purity of soul. It's rubbish, and it will destroy this country.

Or did not Jesus , himself, (supposedly) say: "Let he who is sinless cast the first stone" ??

The same Jesus also soundly condemned hypocrisy!

https://www.gotquestions.org/Bible-hypocrisy.html

And since purity is "unattainable", what should we pursue: Impurity? Or should we strive to be rid of all moral restraints -- pursue hedonism or anarchy?

So...answer my question that I posed earlier: If one says that he loves the home in which he lives, and then turns around and torches it, is this not a contradiction? And if so, how is the human mind to process it?
