Mike, in race 3 and 5, those prices were for the 4th selection, is that correct? Are you boxing all 4 top selections since I see you added the exacta for the win and 4th selection? Just wondering.

These are the top 4 selections that HF spits out....in ORDER
Its up to the user on how they bet....
Some examples could be:
Bet horses over 3-1 for win or W/P if high odds
Box all in ex
play only top 2
etc
etc

I would do OK with my betting scheme- 1W3P units on odds 9-2 or better.
I better be looking at this program Mon/Tues.....

I found a nice little utility that batch changes file names cases. I had a lot of historical files I wanted to play with using Handifast and this was a god send of a time saver. Check out spacetornado - Renamer as a tool to help with this. I won't paste the link as that might be frowned on. It's free, I am in no way associated with it, but it saved me a LOT of typing. It lets you rename the entire file, or just the front part OR extension as you need.

Great that you were able to do it....
I can do a multi file change within the folder with a DOS COMMAND pop up
It changes the extension within seconds to one or thousands of files..
So with that out of the way, how are you doing with HandiFast?

I just got it loaded, watched the videos on YouTube, started practicing with some old data files to set up the analyst models. Will set up a couple of analysis models this week to try this weekend with some live racing. I am looking for some advice on how people set up and apply their analyst models. At the moment I am thinking of doing 4 versions, 1 for each of the races I play the most just to try it out:
Clm/Allow Dirt Sprints
Clm/Allow Dirt Routes
Clm/Allow Turf Sprints
Clm/Allow Turf Routes
Does this make sense as an initial application of the program or am I being too simple or too complicated in the initial approach?
Other question, the DRF files from equibase, should I be using single or multifile format or does it not matter?
