To support that, I was tested in high school and soon called in to have several guidance counselors , the principle, AND vice principle, straight up call me a slacker for not getting straight A's.
If they divulged my exact score, I don't recall it, but I do remember them saying it was just a hair beneath genius level. And they scoffed when I protested that I simply could NOT grasp Algebra 2.
But I couldn't. I just couldn't. So much for IQ scores.

It so happens that I am well acquainted with someone whose IQ test places him solidly within the "genius level". He is scheduled to appear in bankruptcy court on February the 14th. I was at his house about two weeks ago...and he was boasting by showing me his MENSA membership certificate. I almost told him to take the certificate to the bankruptcy court...to see if he could get some leniency from the presiding judge.

C'mon Gus, you're talking about yourself here, except for the IQ and MENSA parts of the story....

Amen, brother. My entire life makes a total mockery of "intelligence tests."

Technicalities. When you go busted...who cares about the accompanying details?

Everyone wants to be special, inflating their iq is one way.
If you asked the same 10,000 people
On a scale of 1-10 how good a.driver are you. I guarantee you get a higher median than 6.
That’s why I put down 100.
I am quite average thank you.

At least 50% of everyone has an above average IQ.
So it is pretty common.

It was a rather simple question really; I found it odd that answering 7 out of 10 questions correctly only left three more for a perfect score.
Maybe we're all smart and what he have here is what I've always thought it was.
