NY Times article - Chantilly

I have said it a few times here before. If you make one trip in your life that includes horse racing, get to Chantilly.

Agree. Wife and I visited there 11 years ago on a racing trip run by the late great Art Kaufman (Lee Tomlinson). Beautiful place, got to speak with Criquette Head, she brought out some of her horses. It was a memorable experience, thanks for the link to the article.

Was going to post this also. With this and Royal Ascot this week, I'm wondering if the Revolution was a good idea?

Night and day diff b/t Euro racing and here. I've never really gone back into their history much prior to 1970 or so - that could be an interesting trek.

Oh and NBCSN will have coverage all 5 days at Ascot starting Tuesday at 0530 PDT. Course still prefer the feed from At The Races or Racing UK.
