This is a bit more of an in depth extract from the book on how they got passed from one diver to another. It describes how one of the boys started to wake and had to be given another injection by a diver, how one of the boys got tangled in a wire and this had to be cut by the diver and the worries they had about the face mask for the smallest boy. All these rescuers were incredible including the doctors in the cave. For boys so young they were also incredibly brave.
I did read elsewhere that the divers were given diplomatic status to protect them in case something went wrong.
