I have a lawyer working on a case for me and he’s in Chicago. Yesterday during a conference Call he was telling me that his son is about to turn 18 in his senior year. He learned almost nothing his junior year because the Chicago school systems online stuff rarely ever worked during the school closure in 2020.

He enrolled him in a Christian school when the teachers refused to go back in the fall. He caught hell from friends but says now it’s gone on so long his sons class is in danger of not graduating on time. But his son will.

He also told me the private schools are cutting their tuition costs to attract more of the kids from the schools that refuse to go back. He says the union is terrified that when they do go back, 30-40% of the kids won’t come back.
