So many people are taught that one listens and OBEYS whatever the Herr Doktor tells you to.

They are not unlike mechanics, gardeners or any service provider: they are there to HELP You get over what you have, educate you on knowing both what your diagnosis was and how those things present themselves.. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, makes YOU part of the two person team who are dealing with managing your health.

If they do not do those things, LET THEM GO just like you would a barber, dry cleaner or any other service provider who is not doing the job you NEED them to do.

I ditched a GP earlier this year as I discovered he had a kick back referrals system going with a few associates and had be appointed for all many of expensive test I WOULD NEVER NEED like sleep apnea, and EKG's...Also wanted me to return every 3 months symptom-less or not.

FRAUD in the making so I bolted.

Preach brother, preach. Even tho you're not giving info we don't already know, it needs to be said. Find one you're comfortable with

In the end my experience with the medical group I was going to (that my physician was a part of) was pass me along to specialist after specialist that had nothing to do w/ my symptoms. That was something new, so I ditched her

IF you have had the run of the mill and really need a definitive diagnosis...Find either a Mayo Hospital or other medical school clinic. They are on the cutting edge of diagnostic equipment

You have YOUNG active and monitored minds eager to learn, fresh from the latest, looking you over without any distraction from malpractice insurance or alimony.

You do have to check any modesty by the door for IF you have a very interesting condition, you will be the subject of many observant young doctors eager to learn

New employee tested positive last week and we are closed for two weeks.
Hoping to open next Friday the 10th but that's contingent on everyone else testing negative. We all got re tested this past Monday and are awaiting results.

Hardest thing I've had to do in a long time was to inform my dedicated crew that they'd be out of work for two weeks. Salaried folks will still get paid but they've been working with me all week cleaning and sanitizing everything top to bottom.

Scary times for sure but as I say:
GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION....now more than ever.

Re opening tomorrow!
Truck showed up today (and it was LOADED)...lots of prep to do tomorrow morning but we are ready to get 'er done.
Everyone else has tested negative and it's time to get back to work.
Been closed since Sat 6/27.
This is one clean restaurant lemme tells ya. My back and shoulders REALLY hurt from scrubbing baseboards, scraping that scum that builds up on the thresholds between rooms, mopping and sweeping and mopping and scrubbing and mopping again.

Thank you again to my few dedicated employees who have busted their asses for this place during this shutdown...gosh, where would we be without our best people?

Don’t forget to change the filters in the a/c

They can harbor lots of germs etc

Done...also removed and cleaned every ceiling tile in the kitchen.
Dismantled the pizza oven, emptied and cleaned all reach-in coolers, pressure washed all prep tables (you ever take a close look at the legs on those tables? Whoa dude!).

Those prep tables are expensive too.
