I know liquor stores that do better.
I do too, most do not even come close. Just in case you are thinking about getting into the liquor store business.

This would be the perfect franchise. The one I delivered to has a college and many office buildinga in walking distance, line is always out the door. Great food.
Agreed... Do you remember off the top of your head how much he was pulling in?

I'm kind of with you. I'm an east coaster that lives in taco land now and about the only thing I can eat is a soft taco that resembles the crap I used to get for a couple of coins at Taco Bell.

But, if I am thinking of the same place, this Chipotle kept me fed for most of a summer a couple years back when I was out of state. The jock I was living with came home with something from there and it was this giant salad with steak and chicken and tomato and looked so damn good. I drove out and got one too and from then on I got that same salad about five nights a week for dinner. The rest of the food probably would have made me puke, but damn that salad is good.

There is a documentary about Chipotle on Netflix. From what what I recall the original owner sold partial rights and ownership to McDonald's to help with infrastructure and the utilization of their growth model. At that time I think you could buy a franchise but as McD's began to focus more on profit maximazing and lower quality ingredients there became a riff and the original guy ended up buying it all back.

I eat at Chipotle every other day (Chicken bowl with double-chicken, lettuce, peppers and onions, and mild sauce)...and I am amazed every single time I go to that place. Not only by the long waiting lines...but by the jubilation exhibited by the employees who are serving the customers. As ManU said, these people seem to LOVE their jobs...and it's a nice thing to see this type of appreciation and dedication shown for one's work. And I am not talking just "smiles"...these people are practically giggling all the time...and I consequently find myself giggling as well. Very therapeutic...especially after the all-too-frequent losing day at the OTB.

I love the place!

You are my long lost brother. That is my lunch every day. I have guacamole rather than the mild sauce. For guys who are looking to lose weight this is the perfect meal that actually tastes really good. Low carb and a lot of protein. I am a big fan of Chipolte.

I used to love Chipotle until they started taking online orders. The line slowed down BIG TIME ever since this happened...and I haven't been going nearly as often because of it...

Hopefully they fix this problem...because the great thing about Chipotle was that even though the line looked long, it always moved quickly...

I watched the Netflix vid and went today. Got there right at opening so no line at this location - only 3 customers the 10 min I was there. Got a salad and Organic Valley chocolate milk. I thought it was alright but not great, and agree if you were on a diet this would be a great place to go.

So why wouldn't you just order ahead of time so it's done by the time you get there?

From what i could tell, at this particular spot, there was no separate line for those who order ahead...you still had to wait on line!!!

What am i missing? Maybe I need to check it out again...
