That would require that he have moral integrity for such a sacrificial act. Since he obviously didn't he took the expedient route.

The guy probably has a family and a job to keep
a felony arrest can be very damaging..........
But I agree with your sentiment.

I realize that taking the moral high ground can be very costly and, therefore, be just as difficult a path to choose; but right is right even in these kinds of difficult and unenviable situations -- even when no one wants to do it.

Federal court THROWS out ridiculous lawsuits about election fraud.
https://www.azcentral.com/story/opin...t/69693987007/
QUOTE: n Cochise County, a judge on Thursday ordered the supervisors to certify the election and in under two hours, it was done.
In Maricopa County, a federal court judge awarded sanctions in a "frivolous" lawsuit brought earlier this year by Kari Lake and Mark Finchem.
“Imposing sanctions in this case is not to ignore the importance of putting in place procedures to ensure that our elections are secure and reliable,” U.S. District Court John J. Tuchi wrote, in a brutal 30-page opinion. “It is to make clear that the court will not condone litigants ignoring the steps that Arizona has already taken toward this end and furthering false narratives that baselessly undermine public trust at a time of increasing disinformation about, and distrust in, the democratic process.”
All in all, a good day for people who believe in the rule of law and the value of facts.

FTFY. After all, when have dimwits ever believed in the rule of law? All one has to do is look at the border situation. Or look how it's always dimwit administrations who want to defund police departments. Or how dimwits have applauded and approved peaceful Antifa demonstrations that that involved destruction of property and looting, etc., etc.
Serious question: Have you ever been in touch with reality?
