Here's the latest update on my experience and disappointment using the Grids;

I have to admit my disappointment is with the provider as opposed to the product.

I liked the product because it was easy to use and complimented other applications I chose to use. The strength of the Grids that it was quick to use with reasonably good numbers which allowed me to do a fairly accurate pace analysis.

However, the biggest drawback for me was the provider and his lack of responsibility and attitude towards his client(s). There was also poor communication on the providers part. His response was slow or none at all. It seems his People skills leave alot to be desired.

He goes by the user name Dalton but I am led to believe that name is purely fictiuous. Evidently, he does want anyone to know who he is.
He says he lives in Orlando but I am doubtful this is the case.

He had to be reminded to post certain tracks which he conveniently left out and started, as of late, to not post at all. there was also issues navigating the website and recently a file link that could not be downloaded. There was also the occasional website crash.

I apologize to those that posted prior comments about this supplier.
I now believe they were justified. I don't approve of bashing anyone but in this instance I believe the prior comments were very deserving.
In any case, I would no longer recommend dealing with him or using his product. One thing is for damn sure, I won't.

Always caveat emptor but your opinion weighs more than most. Thanks again, Partsnut.

Any tips on how you stay so sharp

Would appreciate anything Partsnut would be willing to share on how he stays so sharp, e.g., diet, exercise.

Lots of experience patience and a will to win that is what I would say!

Parts is a great guy and we have had some great memories in the past few years but yes I too would also be interested in knowing his "secrets"

I really appreciate the kind words.

Actually and at my age, I do have a few health issues which comes with the territory.

Horse racing is my passion and keeps my mind active. Being competitive helps as well.

I speak to my many of friends on a daily basis and compare notes on different handicapping devices and techniques.
Horse racing gives me a purpose in life.

I can't afford to dwell on the negative.
Being successful at handicapping is my motivation and keeps my mind sharp.

I would like to thank sites like PaceAdvantage, UpInClass and even sites like Pace&Cap, where I totally disagree with and am opposed to much but not all of the Sartin Methodology and it's content and where I am no longer welcome.
I guess opposing view points are not favorable on that site and in my opinion, that is why the site is a dying entity. The limited content speaks for itself.

I made many friends on these sites.

Does it really matter Bill? We were promised a version for bris files then he signed a contract to only use trackmaster. I basicly said good luck fool and kept in contact with some and did not look back. It is like everyone in a position to grow the sport took the easy road that has killed the sport. I suspect you and I both found the same black holes in the methology and have done better than fair in exploiting them. We were well served by events and did not share what we found with anyone right? Now we see sportsbooks cutting back and investing instead in sports betting, natural order right? Any day it is good to read your posts as they are very distinctive with your flair.

Steve,

I appreciate your response.

I am a firm believer in "No good deed goes unpunished"'
"Payback is a bitch" and the statement that I admittedly made to another member in a heated discussion that was used as a premise to remove me from the site. "You can't fix stupid". Extreme partiality was
exercised by the administrator in favor of that member who was a paying subscriber. This was something that I was not and would never be.

Marketing and money takes precedent over what I consider to be my reliable assessment, honest appraisal and opinion of the forums content, methodology and supporting product.

Opposing opinions are obviously not welcomed and suppressed.

Like I asked, does it really matter? Turning the page is the correct path, we both had everything long before it was watermarked. That being said we also enjoyed all of it and more, how many have been more than generous with time when alive and now gone. Chew on it some, turning the page is as easy as enjoying new friends in todays light.

Steve,

I appreciate and respect your thinking and wise words of wisdom as well as your concern on my behalf.

I guess I really shouldn't care and it really shouldn't matter to me because it didn't happen to you.

This type of thinking might apply to the masses but certainly does not sit well with me.

I will never appreciate the insensitive, unfeeling and unjust course of action taken against me by the administrator of the aforementioned site.

As you might suspect, I am not a very forgiving type of person.
