Twinspires players pool 2012 Kentucky Derby

Does anyone know how the players pool did in the 2012 Kentucky Derby day?

I cannot find info on the results anywhere.

Thank you in advance.

I went over to the site, results are only available to those who have contributed to the pool? Wow!

There was a previous thread where somebody posted the plays. I don't think they hit anything. They had keyed on a bunch of tickets.

ok thank you

I got into the Preakness pool so I can tell what is going to happen saturday. I just wonder how they did on the Derby. I hope someone can tell just to satify my curiosity.

Thank you for checking.

PA search

I searched on PA and could not find anything on the Ky Derby players pool so I just thought I would start this thread.

Thank you for the reply.

Heck, even when they do hit something, is it really worth playing?

I said it before, and I don't doubt that they have good handicappers figuring out the plays for each race involved.
It just doesn't do it for me, though.
What is their highest ROI for any given race day?
I can find better ways to make money.
But, if that's what floats your boat, go for it.......

You know what Twinspires should do?
They should figure out to run their core business - taking wagers - which they were somehow very incompetent in doing on Derby Day.

Amateur Day at TS....

They had no winning tickets. First time I've seen them not get anything however it was pointed out to me that this was not the same team as before. They also made 1 change in the team for the Preakness.

I've played with them 11 times received money back 7 times 3 of which were signers.

You mean to tell me that your return was over 300-1 on your investment?
Three times????
I think not......

Do you have to declare taxable income when you're part of a syndicate who manages to hit a ticket, or two, that are signers?
Say, you invested $100. Things went well that day, and you get back $500.
In the meantime, you are taxable on your return.
Imagine if you had to sign every time you hit a $10 winner.

The only tangible method of describing your experience in this pool is with ROI.
Anything else (apart from net $ win/loss) is blowing smoke.

signers with the players pool

I have only played with the pool once before and made a 33% profit on my investment. But I had to pay taxes on it also.

It was a very very small profit.

There actually were winning tickets in the pick 6 and other pools for the derby.
