How far are we really away from a police state?

Quote:
Dirty Political campaign tricks were used by a well-connected private group to label American citizens for their level of compliance with COVID-19 regulations using mass surveillance of free people in the early days of the COVID lockdowns.

These actions should be especially concerning considering the federal government’s application of ‘COVID-19 decrees’, which were implemented without the consent of the people, and now knowing Americans were being spied upon at the time.

“Voter analytics firm PredictWise harvested location data from tens of millions of US cellphones during the initial Covid lockdown months and used this data to assign a “Covid-19 decree violation” score to the people associated with the phones,” Reclaiming the Internet reported, adding:

“These Covid-19 decree violation scores were calculated by analyzing nearly two billion global positioning system (GPS) pings to get “real-time, ultra-granular locations patterns.” People who were “on the go more often than their neighbors” were given a high Covid-19 decree violation score while those who mostly or always stayed at home were given a low Covid-19 decree violation score.”
Goes to prove just how much the 2020 election was rigged.

Getting pursued all over by ads for things I have inquired about is creepy. The creepiest was an ad that appeared for an item I had only mentioned in a text to my girlfriend. I said I should have rented a wheelchair on our Disney trip as my limping around with a knee brace and cane kind of spoiled the trip. All of a sudden I am getting wheelchair ads on the pages I visit. Verizon must have sold people's text messages.

Maybe not a police state yet, but:

Corrupt, Anti-Democracy Google Found Hiding Republican Search Results from Users

https://ussanews.com/2022/10/26/corr...ts-from-users/

P.S. I am neither a Republican or Democrat. To me it is a matter of fair play and Google putting their thumbs (or heavy hands) on the election.

I googled “Senate campaign websites”. Here’s what I came up with in order, top to bottom.
Mandela Barnes (D) (Wi) challenger..
Rand Paul (R) (Ky) I
Ron Johnson R Wi. I

Leora Levy R Ct Challenger
Don Bolduc R NH challenger
Herschel Walker R Ga. C
Jon Fetterman D Pa O
Marco Rubio R Fl I
Catherine CortezMasto D No I
Ted Budd R NC O
Cheri Beasley D NC O
Tim Ryan D Oh. O
John Kennedy R LA I
Lisa Murkowski R Al I
Patty Murray D WA I
Kendra Horn D OK C maybe O

I could continue, but it’s pretty obvious that it’s pretty random.

I googled ‘ congressional candidate websites’. First one that came up was secureblue.com, a democrat fundraising site. Nothing related to republicans fundraising mentioned on first two pages. Things that make you go hmm.

That is interesting, with the same search for me and I cut and pasted your exact search on Google, I did not get a single hit on a campaign website, just various organizations and news sites mentioning candidates.

You seem to struggle with "your results may vary." Search results are altered by a lot of different factors, just like the ads you get bombarded with. You always assume someone who doesn't have the same experience as you have is lying, that isn't always the case.

Your search results are catered to your warped sense of reality.

When the majority of the searches you type are "provide Democrat talking points", "what did CNN say today" and "closest parks surrounded by hedges" Google has your midnset down pat.

On a sport fan forum I no longer frequent due to excessive liberal moderation,
a guy started a thread about the ads he was seeing wondering what everyone else saw. He was getting dating sites, sex hook ups, and a lot of things he considered perverted. He had no idea his thread was a confession.

I think I can guess what the park comment implies, I wonder if Cliffy does?
