Of all people, I have to be the one to say this, but since when has Serling EVER been bad on racing telecasts? He's one of the best personalities and handicappers in that business and has been for years.

I compare TLG to Howard Stern. Obtained his following by being very shticky and became popular from it. Has somewhat mellowed out through the years but mostly the last few. When Howard Stern got involved with his second wife Beth he matured and became a different person. Who knows maybe its a love interest. In any event Andy should feel complimented that I compared him to Howard.

C'mon - are we trolling here?
Andy Serling and the NYRA broadcast team have been bringing it for a long time. They provide a 360 degree perspective on the sport, which is much appreciated here. Bettors, owners, trainers, jockeys, backside workers, etc., etc., etc. They had a nice piece re David Donk today, for example.

NOT trolling.
He's doing an outstanding job
Great match with Courtney Clement. I think that's the ticket.

What I wanted to say was that they have good chemistry on air. The multiple martini's threw me off.

You would be too if you couldn't even spell your board name correctly.
Some example to his students.

A good one for a Spanish prof, though?

I, too, enjoy Andy's show and it's proven extremely helpful for me.
BUT, I have one quibble. When I'm watching the show, time is tight. It's just before post time and there's plenty of handicapping to do. I can do without all the non-racing small talk about wine, food, or anything else Andy and Anthony are kibbitzing about.
Just keep it tight and to the point, guys.
