Market is following through too?

Makes no sense. I guess momentum is on the upside and bad news won't slow it down.

Russell is up 2%...it is outperforming at the moment

VIX is down over 3.5%...which is more surprising

Is the market just going to walk headfirst into another Fed buzzsaw on November 2?

Earnings yesterday were not great. Chipotle for example raised prices 13% year over year to realize sales gains of 7.5%. Let's think about that for a minute.

Bad news = good news since it prompts the belief the Fed will pull back a bit on raising rates...

It's still all about the Fed

Given the carnage we have already seen I don;t think the market should expect the fed to save it. If Inflation keeps raging (especially if unemployment is sitting in the 3's) corporate earnings aren't going to matter to the Fed.

Facebook is a disaster. Let me summarize their quarterly earnings report from this afternoon for the group:

"We at Facebook are pleased to inform you that our path forward is built on taking piles of cash out into the street and setting it on fire. This will lead to the construction of the metaverse which by now noone understands or even wants to take part in" The End.

They are set to drop out of the top 20 in the S&P500 while having a platform that encompasses roughly half the beings on the planet. Mark Zuckerberg is a f*cking idiot.

i think this is real good

Canada just appropriated over $900 million for nuclear power plants, the United states had given up $150 million to Centrum Energy. that money runs out in November. but berried in the Inflation reduction bill is $700 million to develop and search for the right type of Uranium to power these plants. right now the only place to get this type of Uranium called HALEU which is short for high assay low enriched uranium. currently, the only ones that have that are Russian companies.

Centrum energy (LEU) is a good bet to get a lot of this money to develop the fuel. going forward this got to be a decent bet if you believe in nuclear power plants throughout the world.

Next quarter guidance said we are in for a shit show. At least they were honest. Apple keeps telling everyone they are going to grow at a 40% clip.
