C C Brown a Study on Turf @Bel -- noticed something!!!

This year C C Brown has had very few horses entered in Turf races that were less than 1 Mile

However, when he has entered a horse in this situation it has been one of the very few times he has yielded a profit across the board

You are getting a 19% return per $2 win place and show wager in this situation!!!

Additionally, you are also getting a 20% return per $2 show wager as well the show return is doing much better than the win return in this situation!!!

So far, he has 8 horses entered today before scratches 4 of the 8 are in the 8th race

He has #1 Wage Acceleration entered in the 1st race today at Belmont going on the Turf at 7 Furlongs

He may not win since back to back wins have not happened for him in this situation since May 7th but he might hit the board today at a price!!!

Also, it's another Economics angle he seems to be going with this lately

Let's see if the betting wages increase today for him in the 1st at Belmont!!!

Wage acceleration paid 5.20 to show. Nice observation.

Well #3 Rublinda finished 2nd and #4 Noble Freud was off the board yesterday

I didn't realize that #4 Noble Freud raced on the Dirt yesterday and so will not count towards the study

You are now only getting a 15% return per $2 win place and show wager in this situation as #3 Rublinda finished 2nd yesterday for Brown but only paid $4.30 across the board as she was the favorite

Let's continue to keep an eye on C C Brown in this situation for the last week of the Belmont season!!!

I've noticed something else with C C Brown's Allowance Optional Claimers* at Belmont, whenever their Morning Line is less than 3-1 on the Turf they tend to hit the board quite often going back to May 12th 2016

In fact, 25 of the last 29 have hit the board and 20 of the 29 have finished no worse than 2nd!!!

I have sworn off of playing exactas but it does make me quite interested to see what the exacta payouts were in the 20 races where his horses finished either first or second!!!

Interesting to note, from October 26th 2016 up until June 11th 2017 he has had only one instance where he had back to back losses in this situation and all of them have hit the board so I will need to look at the show parlay!!!

He has these in Allowance Optional Claiming* races on the Turf today at Belmont with Morning Lines less than 3-1:

3rd race
#2 Grand Jete

9th race
#7 Tombelaine

Should the mini pattern hold and the above races stay on the Turf, it looks like #2 Grand Jete should win and #7 Tombelaine should lose or possibly run 2nd

In either case it will be interesting to see what happens with these today for him should they remain on the Turf!!!

*I treat any Optional Claiming (i.e. Starter Optional Claiming, Optional Claiming,,, etc.) as Allowance Optional Claiming

Well C C Brown's Allowance Optional Claimers* on the Turf at Belmont did much better than I expected yesterday as they both won!!!

As #2 Grand Jete and #7 Tombelaine both won their respective races and paid a combined $20.90 across the board yesterday!!!

In looking at the mini pattern it seemed as if #2 Grand Jete would win and #7 Tombelaine would lose but as I always say 2 wins are better than one win!!!

*I treat any Optional Claiming (i.e. Starter Optional Claiming, Optional Claiming,,, etc.) as Allowance Optional Claiming

Congratulations to those who saw the plays and were able to make a profit!!!

However, after back to back wins I am looking for a loss in this situation followed by a win should the pattern hold!!!

oracle, do you have Brown's Grade 3 turf stats

i think it is going to just like his optional claiming record..hitting first or 2nd.

also, check out Brad Cox numbers..all of a sudden he is winning big also.

Maybe do some digging on his stats.

Hey N.C.

Here is B H Cox overall at Belmont

He is 1 for his last 6 he is giving you a 15% return per $2 show wager

His last week of June going into July really hurt his returns

Cox is a good dirt trainer

and now he is showing up at Belmont and other venues, and winning on Turf.
Tough to have good numbers on Dirt and Turf.

11 out of 17 at place for Cox at Belmont( Turf).

Here is C C Brown in Stakes races on the Turf I didn't break them down into Grade 1, 2, 3 etc.

He does seem to have a number of 1st and 2nd place finishes 16 out of 35

I will have to check to see if those were Grade 3

At any rate after tomorrow it's on to Saratoga which is always a challenge for me!!!
