Most of the racing books I first read to learn all I could about horse racing were from the base library at McGuire AFB. Hard to believe but true. Ainslie, Beyer, Quirin, Quinn, Kuck come to mind. At one point I think I had checked them all out like five times in a row without anyone else intervening.

Trade or sell

I have a couple of handicapping books I would like to trade for or will sell them. Drop me a message. Not here as I am not a paid advertiser.

There is no problem with listing them here, people have done that often.

Dick Francis was a steeplechase jockey who became one of the best Chandler-style mystery writers in the U.K. Any of his books are worth a reading; one of my favorites, available at the above URL, is "Dead Heat."
