2yo Filly stakes to Ky Oaks winners (BC era)

After looking at the boys, I decided to look at the girls.

Ky Oaks winners 1985-2011 (the Breeders' Cup era):
------------------------------------------------------------
The BC Juvenile Filles winner has won the next year's Oaks twice.
The 2yo Filly Eclipse champion has won the Oaks twice.

15 of the 27 Ky Oaks winners did not win a stake at 2.
3 didn't win a race at 2.

The 2yo stakes won most by future Ky Oaks winners during the period:
3 - Demoiselle
3 - Hollywood Starlet

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. I'd have to look it up, but I wonder if the girls have a chance of running at the 9F distance of the Oaks before they get to CD. For the boys, unless they run in Dubai, it's obviously the first time they all go the mile and a quarter.

The Demoiselle is typically run at 9f and the Bonnie Miss at GP has been for nearly a decade.
