I get that payouts are total pool less takeout / winning units. Tho not absolute by any means, always thought 'rule of thumb' to calc a payout was win X win. I get that the winning unit for this bet is a $5 unit but I kinda expected the payouts to be greater than if a $2 unit (but it's always my expectations that let me down).
So far on both days these DD payouts were close to the amount of the $2 win X $2 win in each leg. But for a $5DD unit should I expect 2.5 times the amount that a $2DD unit would pay? I get the logic in the payout calc and based on such it makes sense they pay the way they are so setting a min $5 unit just seems to inflate the pool, no?

play a lot of dubs leveraging obvious runners(4/5 thru 3-1)to value types in the second half. payouts for these have a pretty consistent low line threshold. it's parlay + 10%. sunday's ghdd fit that bill perfectly. let's see how it panned out with the 15% rake.
sa8 winner paid 4.00 x 2.5=10.00
gg9 winner paid 56.00 x 5=280.00 parlay
ghdd paid 282.50=parlay+0.089%
it under performed in a spot where it wasn't supposed to.
