There's no horse named "Moheyman", but there is a horse named "Moyhamen".

Strange name. Hard to spell, hard to say. Does anyone know where the name comes from?

Sheikh Hamdan, who owns Shadwell Farm, bought this horse for $2.2M as a yearling in 2014, then named the horse, which translates to "Dominant" or "Protector".....

Just make it plural.
No matter how you slice it, it's a bad name. Pretty much all of the top colts in this crop have bad names.
Mor Spirit? It's not good even with the missing "e".
What's a Nyquist?

I agree. The names are disappointing this year. When I hear Nyquist I think of Nyquil in a mist spray.

He plays for the Detroit Red Wings, which makes it that much worse.

One of many thoroughbreds and standardbreds that Paul Reddam has named after Red Wing players over the years.
I remember Probert and Federov from back in the beginning when they raced at Hazel and Northville.

Nyquist wants no part of 9 furlongs in graded stakes company. Mohaymen looks like the real deal.
