Good day,
The FOY sure looks like the best race of the prep season thus far. Mohaymen, Cherry Wine, Awesome Banner and Zulu... Think Mohaymen goes off less then even money?

I suspect Mohaymen will be odds on, perhaps 3/5. I will make tri, super, and horizontal wagers with him singled on top.

I wonder if Awesome Banner can carry the speed long enough to hold on to 2nd... Thats the big question for me in this race. Im thinking Mohaymen w/ Zulu, Cherry Wine, W/ Awesome Banner w/ All or something like that

If Mohaymen wins youd be lucky to get 20 bucks for the tri no matter what happens. gonna be impossible to make money on him and if you try to bet against him you might as well set it on fire and throw it off a bridge

Yep. The only way to play verticals in short field with heavy chalk is to play them relatively straight. Even the $1 super might only pay $18. I remember the straight chalk super in the FL Derby last year only paid around $22.

This race is a no bet for me, they have too many derby preps that offer points, we keep getting 6 horse fields, I can't bet these races , no value. It seems like every year the only ones you can bet are at FG and OP. They have to get rid of some of these preps.

maybe fellowship can hit the board to boost the payouts.... but its pathetic... even 1-1 id unload on Mohayen but prob be like 1-4

Mohaymen is no lock in this field. His last race didn't prove anything. I think Awesome Banner and Zulu are runaway leaders that will go first second all the way around the track. They are much quicker out of the gate and no reason to think at least one of them can get 8.5 furs.
