Bushmills Irish Whiskey. Black Bush is a fine whiskey.

New vodka on the market here, Tito. Smoothest I have ever tasted. Distilled in Austin, Tx.

Since this post has popped back up, I will update my status.
Tried something new for Father's Day.
Berry's XO Cognac
Don't like it much despite trying it at a tasting. So, I am mixing it with 1/4 Grand Marnier. Makes it quite palatable.

Sipping on some Baby Blue from Balcones Distilling... nectar of the gods.
The recent explosion in micro-distilleries has been marvelous. So much great whiskey and spirits available nowadays. That and all the micro brews, man we live in rarefied times when it comes to good alcohol these days.

the Angels Envy was good...but not worth the $$$
Tonight...started on "Old St. Pete" rum...quite tasty...different...perhaps a bit sweet...but extra spicy...
not exactly an Irish drink...but considering the day...hit the spot...

Good stuff 👍
Next up some Woodford Res

ROYAL GATE VODKA for me. Plastic Pint costs $1.29---carry in your jacket pocket--or easy to hide "elsewhere".

JR, I too find bourbon my choice. I find it is most enjoyable after certain foods, with one small lonely ice cube. Some do the splash of brine water to enhance or bring a certain flavor, they are serious bourbon folks. Take note of your favorite foods are and after pour one finger to see how they pair.
