consensus LAD
Noticed consensus didn't have but 2 horses picked in the 2nd and 8th today at LAD. In the 8th it had a first and 3rd position pick with an blank in the middle. I this right or maybe I have a bad file somewhere.

LAD update
Yesterday consensus had the winner in races 2 thru 8, 7 straight. Using the 3 horses you could have rolled thru the pick3's pick4 and pick5.
Also in the 6th race the winner was picked by 123 and best3 and paid $12.60. As mentioned before you gotta bet these multiple selections if they have a price.

I checked all the LAD Bris files.......I didn't notice anything missing but I only go back to the 10th with my data.
I've seen what you describe, Mike. Keep in mind it's a consensus--- there's a max amount that can be listed in ties, or else what good is it? It's rare, but it happens--there's also the races with FTS, ect.
I saw we nailed the Pix-6 at LAD Tuesday.
$.10 Pick 6 Jackpot (6-2-5-9-9-4) (6 Correct) Paid: $751.23 , $.50 Pick 5 Jackpot (2-5-9-9-4) (5 Correct) Paid: $339.25
Can that .10 cent payoff be right?
Oh I haven't posted a Tip Sheet or anything today---sorry guys. Was in Reno and just got back. My sister's got an apt just down from the Nugget in Sparks (next to Reno).
One last thing real quick. I get a lot of email asking about SPEED DEMONS, and when's it coming out. I got 3 volunteers + Steve the Programmer and myself working on it. It's gonna be awhile, though. I could slap something together......but you all know that's not me.
I'll explain more in the upcoming Newsletter.
Best,
-NCG
*ps--thanks for the complimentary emails---I've been saying I'm making a testimonial page, by God this weekend it will be up.

That's what I'm talking about. Picked my consensus and 2 methods and 12/1 is a must bet in my book. You don't need many of those $24 horses to stay ahead of the game.

Must be betting against horses on the exchange. Too bad it's only available in 1 state, I'm good at picking losers.

Hey guys....I've been stuck with no computer the last couple days.
I upgraded to Chrome 61.0 or whatever. They installed that--plus a few corrupted files. Had to do a "fresh" reinstall of Windows, Chrome, etc.
Problem is...everything else is gone. I don't have any of my programs, except some old, unreleased versions.
Back your important stuff up--learned my lesson.
*HORSE TO WATCH SEP 18TH*
Delaware
4th race DERVAL 9-2 ML
Your comments for this horse were:
"Maiden may be much better than looked--scratched MDSW Monmouth---trainer looking for a better spot?"
Good luck guys

Yep the NJX is the best innovation in racing in Jersey in many a moon.
takes a lot of work picking losers and getting the best price on the X.
and getting a your price is the key. If I dont get my price I pass.
No reason to bet every race.
Plenty of markets everyday.
Just pick your spots and voila.
wish the X was nationwide.

If they ever expand the market by opening up the exchange to other states you will see better prices across the board. Now you have a limited number Jersey players and if no one wants the other side, you're out of luck.

Somebody will always take the other side, just not at the price you like.
Saturday at Woodbine in the woodbine mile I hated second choice Deauville. rats. Never got my price. unmatched oh well win some lose some.
and the for the person who asked what the NJX is.
It is New Jersey Exchange wagering platform.
only available to NJ residents and only can be played in Jersey.
However you can check the daily results and see the Betfair SP (starting price) and they always give the difference in price between the SP and the tote.
Just be aware to reduce the SP by 12% (the commission charge on winning wagers).
The also have a value review weekly about huge overlays that were available on the exchange.
One day it will be nationwide and all tracks will be available.
