bush country 2004..and beyond

Well, I'm off to the on track contest at AQU
and though I would hearten those who may have felt abused by one who disagrees with them.

Thanks so.cal
Just another typical day at the ranch..went 0 for 10 in the contest, but managed 4 for 4 in the real betting.

One more humbling day to go.

Anyone who has the b**s to go into a contest deserves to win one way or another......I was in a small one in Vegas once.....couldn't stand the pressure.
Hope you get them tomorrow, or at least make some $$ with your bets.

If one is to get the Hannity implied significance of that map,
one could also say;

"Looks like 51% of the Bush votes live in 90% of the land
while 48% of the Kerry votes live in but 10% of the land."

Perhaps the Kerry voters, living in comparatively close proximity to each other are cause to be more tolerant of each other, therefore the “liberal” label

Not really. If you will check, you will find 80% to 90 % of all the murders, rapes, robberys, etc. also take place in the blue areas.

It's harder to rob someone when you have to drive 2 hours to find another human.

Especially with gas prices being what they are.

That is really a sad statistic......seems both red and blue should be very concerned with this......big cities have big problems....that need to be addressed.

these are 1997 numbers....now, I have no doubt that if you were to break this down into counties you would find that the per capita is higher in the urban "blue" areas.

But I thought the state breakdown was interesting enough as well, obviously there is much work to be done in the South.

And not only that but you'll also find (as I have posted evidence on this forum in the past) that those blue areas, generally, ain't (forgive the venac) nearly as liberal with their charitable contributions as the blue areas.

You see, Liberalism is fine, providing the Liberals don't have to live under their own stinking rules and policies which they try to cram down everyone else's throat. (Malibu Babes comes immediately to mind).
