Pre-race collision at MHK

I don't know all the details, but it occurred before race 9 tonight. The last update I heard was that Roger Mayotte was being attended to on the track. Must be serious...it's been over a 20 minute delay.

Latest tweet stated, "Roger Mayotte is alert and being transported to a nearby hospital." I hope everything is OK with him.

The delay was mainly caused as there was no ambulance left at the track and rules say they can't start another race without an ambulance being present at the premises.

Mayotte is an old tiger and he will back on his feet in no time provided there are no broken bones.
