I remember the old sie - that back room full of all the old stuff, S&M, booklets.....a treasure chest for a horse player.
Glad I got to go there a couple of times.

I don't know whether "The Kingfish" was interested in horse racing or not prior to his assassination in 1935, but I believe that you meant Huey Mahl.

Yes, I meant Huey Mahl-funny how the power of suggestion works-I had just read earlier about Earl Long ,brother of Huey Long , who btw was into the races
and out popped the wrong name when I typed
