Anyone here use ALLWAYS?????
It is a nice program but it seems like information overload. Does anyone here use it? What do you like about it? Is it worth the cost?

I thought that program was free from Bris. No?
But the data was really, really expensive at $14 @ card, last time I looked at it.
Are we talking about the same thing? If so I liked what I saw of the program but the data charge put me off bigtime.

It is. It is a s _ _ tload of info. I spent two days reading all the info, and I am nowhere near finished. it is going to be a work in progress. The download was free. You pay for race cards. I bought the Belmont meet package for $99.00. Worth it so far. One tip, Handicap the race first, then delete all the non contenders and scratches. The numbers will be different than if you had not. Then run the program. If you are a good handicapper, the info can be very deadly in your hands. So, so far I like it. But it is going to be a long study learning all the options available.

Download is free, cards are cheaper with a meet package. I bought the Belmont fall meet for $99.00, includes all results info too. Lots of info. I use the Brohamer numbers, and I got tired of computing them all the time and wanted a program that would do it for me. This does all that and then some. it is working well with me so far.

I used it for several years with modestly profitable results, then moved to HTR and RDSS. I think the gentleman who created it (and wrote those great newsletters) passed away and his children weren't interested in continuing it. BRIS gives it away now but it's the old software. The data files are somewhat expensive (not Sheets-expensive but expensive) and the amount of data can be overwhelming. The best approach I found was to box best-early and best-late.

Of the two you mentioned, which one do you like better? I am not familiar with HTR. I am mostly interested with the Brohamer portion so I don't have to do the calculations. It saves time (lots).

Sorry for the late response but I've been traveling. Ken Massa, aka Mr. HTR, wrote Brohamer's MPH program. Ken never throws anything away so what you want will be in there but it may take some digging. Ted Craven, aka Mr. RDSS, was a Sartin student and took all of the Sartin programs and combined them in RDSS after the Doc's illness. Of course, Brohamer was one of the original PIRCO members.
I have both programs and know players in both camps who are profitable players. Presently I'm using HTR but could fire up RDSS anytime.
I would suggest that you try both. HTR is a free download and Ken will provide you with free data cards on a trial basis. If you like it, it's $119/month and that includes all the U.S. and Canada cards daily. RDSS costs about $150/year and the cards are a dollar or so. Ted offers a 30-day money-back trial period on the program.
FWIW, Ken and Ted are two of the best guys in racing.
