As the right USED to say celebrating Chumpy' s outlier win and Hillary's popular vote win by 3 million.

Elections have consequences.

Wins By Democratic Attorneys General Threaten To Multiply Climate Suits Against Big Oil
The oil and gas industry’s expensive victories in the midterm elections could come at a price.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...b0e8438897aa58

Democrats scored a string of state attorney general victories on Tuesday night, ousting loyal oil and gas allies and threatening to add to mounting lawsuits against the industry over climate change.

The party flipped four states and held 13, re-electing incumbents in seven of them. in an election sweep that secured Democrats 27 states that represent over 58 percent of the U.S. population and 63 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product. The top-cop posts are considered the “most effective way” to challenge President Donald Trump’s environmental agenda.

Yes, they do.
You won gridlock at best.
WE kept the senate, the SC.
So you can file all the lawsuits you want to.

We will be happy to review them all.

So you think Chunpy can just fire one AG after another until he finds the right crook for the jon?

The tobacco industry thought they could get away with it also

Department of Justice Lawsuit Against the Tobacco Industry. After the massive Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) between states and the tobacco industry regarding fraud associated with the sale and marketing of cigarettes, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) decided to file a similar lawsuit against the industry.

The Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) was entered in November 1998, originally between the four largest United States tobacco companies (Philip Morris Inc., R. J. Reynolds, Brown & Williamson and Lorillard – the "original participating manufacturers", referred to as the "Majors") and the attorneys general of 46 states. The states settled their Medicaid lawsuits against the tobacco industry for recovery of their tobacco-related health-care costs.

States were to receive over $206 billion over 25 years:

Up-front payments – $12.742 billion.
Annual Payments, beginning April 15, 2000 – $183.177 billion estimated through 2025. 9 billion per year from 2018 into perpetuity.[19]

Not much of a difference between Tobacco health issues and big OIL.destroying the health of the planet and additional human health issues.

It's only a matter of time

I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Warmer and Ben Cooler get sued too. Misrepresenting and obstruction of justice are going to be nailed.

As I've stated at least a handful of times, the United States isn't going to be the problem with CO2 emissions in the future.

China, India, Europe and developing countries will be.

What is the world plan? As there was much ado about the U.S. pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, we also led the world last year in decreased CO2 emissions. Guess who led the world in increased emissions? Little doubt the current "plan" is nowhere close to being effective.

California governor saying fires are just going to be worse there because of global warming.....

I wonder if global warming has restricted logging and removal of dead trees?

I wonder how much carbon dioxide is being released to the world, as they now have the largest fire in the world.

Yeah kind of disappointing. Hoever one should keep in mind poorer countries like China and India are not at our stage of technology and emission controls are not a top priority as compassed to increasing energy sources.

However this does not mean developed countries should stop with their efforts to curb emissions. Nether does BP

https://www.bp.com/en/global/corpora...n-pricing.html

From bp stastisical review world energy

Carbon pricing
We believe that carbon pricing provides the right incentives for everyone – energy producers and consumers alike – to play their part in reducing emissions. It makes energy efficiency more attractive and makes low carbon solutions, such as renewables and carbon capture, use and storage, more cost competitive

No, no one is saying that is the main or only cause.

PBS NewsHour

@NewsHour

"We're not saying that climate change is literally causing the events to occur. What we can conclude, with a great deal of confidence now, is that climate change is making these events more extreme," @MichaelEMann says of events like droughts, heatwaves and fires taking place now

Don't forget that in addition to the planet not warming, the earth is flat, there was no holocaust, and the sun orbits the earth.
