He doesn't have to.
The house just launches their own investigation and brings him in.
Maybe we are just misunderstanding eachother...
The election of a Democrat House and the committee chairs its brings with means no matter what happens now at the DOJ... The President isn't capable of avoiding investigation.

So why is cryin' Chuck crying with such an ace in the hole?
Remember the Senate Judiciary committee did an investigation into the woman alleging now Justice kavanaugh had raped them. Sen Grassely had to refer the people to the DoJ (FBI) for prosecution.
A house committee hiring Mueller would be nothing but show, with the potential to blow-up in their faces..

So you are saying the American people will be completely fine with a stagnant Government they have elected and are paying for the next 2 years to try and take down a duly elected President?
Nobody is gonna want to demand anything like healthcare reform, immigration reform, infrastructure, etc.?
The 50% of yelling at the sky people get to put everything on hold till Bad Orange Man gets taken down?
Can you let us know when y'all jump back on the sane train? Us stupid hillbillies will be waiting.

You guys can't help making stuff up can you...?
I posted Schumer's statement... it wasn't crying... it was merely stating that the guy should recuse himself and he's clearly biased.
There was nothing wrong with Schumer's factually and correct statement.
The rest of your post is more nonsense and misdirection. A Democrat House means regardless what Trump does he will face investigation. You all want to create and wave these weird ass conspiracies.... Fact is Sessions was leaving... we all knew that... I don't see this as much of an effort to interfere in the investigation.
More troubling is the fact people here actually want people interfering with potential crimes against the United States.
Final Note: I STILL don't think Trump did anything illegal.

They would probably be just as fine with a President very publicly obstructing justice.
Again this has nothing to do with the point I originally made.
You guys just get off trying to "get one over" on me. Its comical.

Biased Understanding the limits of power for an appointed position is biased.
Actually, I want the crime of spying on American citizens a presidential campaign through a bogus FISA application to be investigated thoroughly.
I want the Uranium one deal investigated along with Mueller's involvement. I want the FBI employees who mishandled the HRC investigation investigated. I am all for investigating real crimes against the U.S. and its citizens.

Except they got the documents released they wanted to. Plus they don't have to subpoena the President. Just ANYONE else they want.
Ask Hillary.

Meanwhile my ORIGINAL POINT that with the Dems in control of the House Mueller and a Presidential investigation are untouchable.
Case Closed.

Really, so they can ask anyone for the sitting President's tax returns? It is going to be fun when the D's in the house subpoena the President's tax returns. Can't wait

BTW that was not the statement I was referring too. And speaking of misdirection, I specifically referred to the Mueller investigation and his prosecutorial powers, not a dog and pony show investigations by the house.

Nobody is talking about Tax Returns.
We're talking about the Special Prosecutor investigation.
This discussion is over... the Dem House leaves the Special Prosecutor's investigation in a very, very, safe position.
Nobody has said anything to dispute it except "so what."
