I hope he runs into a few people who lost their asses at the track, robbed a liquor store or something and ended up in prison, on his cellblock.

That's correct. The way it works is ICE files a "detainer" with the federal Bureau of Prisons, which is an order that whenever he is released, he will be released into the custody of ICE for deportation proceedings.

Let’s hope jail acts as a deterrent. I’m around this game for 45 years. What typically happens is one juicer gets caught and suddenly can’t win anymore but somebody else comes along to take his place. The punishment has to seem severe enough to make the risk/reward favor running clean among those with some propensity to cheat.

window of opportunity to harness the negative Publicity and signal a perception of integrity as well as a perception of horse care, and after-care
