Gulfstream village , vacant decrepit sections. I don't care for the track much. Better than nothing.
I went back there in 2016 trying to prove Thomas Wolfe was wrong. I failed.

You serious?

If you think back to yourself in your 20's or 30's and you could build your dream racetrack, you would have dreamed Gulfstream. What Frank Stronach build was his dream.

A track, a casino, world class restaurants, night clubs, brand name stores like William-Sonoma, crate & barrel.
your own 300 seat steakhouse named Franky's. On and on, a bowling alley, a theatre! 😆. F'ng crazy dream . But it hasn't clicked, it never took off. Most of the restaurants gone, empty stores,.... And lets not forget this multi million.. $50 million? 55?

May whatever influence you have at NYRA be effective in keeping us from needing to write the same way about Belmont/Aqueduct once the rebuild/consolidation is done!

We have been seeing some of the same things down here this season given the direction things are taking at Oaklawn, sad to say.

Suff, you take a good picture. You have a good eye.
I don't know if you are taking hundreds and just picking out the 5-10 best or what, but these are mostly nice pictures, the perspective. It may be flawed in many ways but the pictures make me want to make my first visit to GP.

Roaming around is my hobby . I take a lot of pictures.

I'm visual. And I'm an explorer. I have the Google pixel 7 , just for the camera.

I left Gulfstream & went over to Surfside. Do you remember when Champlain Towers collapsed 18 months ago? I was curious what's going on there so I went by to explore this weekend.

Miami boat show was this week.

Largest boat & Yacht show in the world. This is Grove Key Marina in the Coconut Grove section of South Miami...I took this because I like the backdrop of the Miami Skyline.
