You first started this whine fest 730 days ago when he kicked Clinton to the curb. Since then we've seen two newly minted conservative Supremes, a booming economy, an even more Red senate. We've been waiting for this Armageddon you've been talking about non stop. Stillll nothing.

Even if my prediction was correct Trump was still going to be stacking the Judiciary.

Its not like Mitch has had any problems.

You wanted takeaway and I gave them... I don't think you actually disagree with any of them but at this point you're so butthurt that you feel ya gotta "stick it to me" whenever you can.

Its humorous actually.

Pray tell which take away did you disagree with I posted or was this whole thing started by a butthurt shitpost directed at me for no other reason than you don't like me?

The nation-wide vote total thing is a talking point that appeared recently, I guess as an excuse in advance for underperforming Dems. Seems totally irrelevant to me. If it does have any relevance, then why do we even need states and counties and parishes and other representative districts? Why can't we have one-party rule based on nationwide vote totals?

A great jumping off point towards Fascism, it seems to me.

All In The Family was revolutionary for it's time. Forcing bigoted whites to confront their hypocritical prejudices for the first time on network TV

He believes wholeheartedly in his government and is a strong supporter of President Nixon. Ironically, Nixon hated the sitcom

I should say, like your machiavellian mad preznit.

No, I realized just how corrupt Chumpy was shortly after he fired Comey and a week later Robert Mueller was appointed. That's what prompted "it's only a matter of time"

The thread I started by the same name was on 07-18-2018,

Duh, it is

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-polit...nts-grand-jury

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 32 people and three companies — that we know of.

That group is composed of four former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Six of these people (including now all four former Trump aides) have pleaded guilty.

If you also count investigations that Mueller originated but then referred elsewhere in the Justice Department, you can add plea deals from two more people to the list.

..............................

Now that the midterms are done, Mueller resumes

Trump is, and should be shitting a brick

Both sides do this stuff. One side says voter fraud and the other says voter suppression.

The national ballot and key suburban districts are indicative of problems for Republicans. Imagine if a national election went +9 for the GOP. You're looking at 300+ seats in the house.

Both parties have problems going forward and the election showed some interesting things. Democrats don't have an answer to Trump's Rural Wall as long as he keeps talking about a Border Wall. Republicans failed to blunt the Democrat surge in the suburbs... every state that was a senate pickup was a Trump double digit win* in 2016... and this economy is great.

*Florida being the exception but Florida can always be counted on to "Florida."

My take is that I'm more proud of my state than ever. Going into this mid-term election, Dems held 7 seats and the GOP 5 in the House of Representatives. Today the Dems have 10 seats, the GOP one seat, and one district is too close to call only because of Republican gerrymandering. I will note that the one GOP seat won last night is held by a man who is a legend around here - his name is Chris Smith and he won his seat last night for the 19th time!

Meanwhile, some rich GOP dude spent $30M of his own money to run for U.S. Senator against the totally embarrassing Bob Menendez. Now most people might of thought the GOP would have dumped a ton of party money to beat Menendez. No way. If you are in the GOP you know you live for something for nothing and that is undoubtedly why Hugin was nominated. Really,if one guy ever bought his nomination, Hugin is that guy. Anyway, New Jersey did the only thing it could, it held it's nose and re-elected Menendez.
.

As someone else posted somewhere else, rich or poor the residents of my state know a fool when they see one (Donny Boy) and vote accordingly.

Unfortunately, those of us living in NJ have to accept the fact that majority does not rule in these United States.

So I'm a racist.... My wife and I own two very small businesses, both of which depend on non white clientele. A vast majority of which weren't born in this country, they came here legally from the other side of the Atlantic.

Yes, you're Archie Bunker. Closed minded with opinions on things you hold limited knowledge of.

Carry on, you have so many more stereotypes to deal out.
