Gulfstream R5 today - in honor of Caixa

It is really nice of the racing industry to run a stakes race in honor of this awesome fighter Caixa Eletronica who was unfortunately taken away from us.

The only thing they could have taken care.. is to get his name right in the Stakes name!

Caixa Eletronica is the name but in BRIS and Xpressbet etc, I see the race listed as Caixa EleCtronica


.. race caller making mistakes like "Mongolian Wildcat" while in the flow of this sprint, but he does pronounce the stakes name accurately without the first C in Eletronica.

Kudos again to Caixa!

IceK, I know. I've seen others misspell his name many times. Still, I'm glad they honored this one by naming a race for him--spelling incorrect or not. A well deserved remembrance.

Yes, definitely cool. But on the name thing, I noticed one thing in AQU R7 today.. there was a horse named Western Grit but you are Southern Grits right?

But do you know, as far as Southerners and their love for grits?
