No where to go. Often the horses and/or riders in IL will fail to hold the rail spot on the turn, but this one didn't seem to. Too close. Professional maide horse - back off, and the horse might quit. Can't urge, no where to go, that's how riders and horses end up on the ground and on/over the rail. Race riding ahead, wouldn't veer out intentionaly to let him through. If rail did open up, no telling if the horse would have the will to go through the hole. Misstimed ride to be in that spot, rallying inside behind several horses. I'm sure he'd love to have that one back. Young rider leading at the meet, wins a lot, gamble inside didn't pay off this time.
