Betting the Arc de Triomphe?

Canterbury's website has the following note.

Attention Race Fans: Due to a technical problem involving Sportech, our tote vendor, we are unable to offer wagering on the Arc de Triomphe races in 2012. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that they are able to solve this problem for future Arc days.

I don't know if all Sportech customers are shut out, but you better plan accordingly.

Woodbine also not offering betting on the arc due to the different coupling rules.

You are right about that.
Especially win betting, and UK each-way betting.
We don't come anywhere close to the value you get over there day to day.

Our exotic wagers (EX, TRIF, SFC, PK3, PK4, etc.) are more attractive, though, than the UK equivalent.
Just a different approach to winning big.
In UK, most try that with accumulators (parlays).
Bread and butter for the bookmakers.....

If you get the chance, bet the 10 horse, Tom.
Going off at 40-1, but I'd take 1-40 about now.....
