Talk about realistic looking...and feeling...and playing

If the rain Gods hold off, we'll have a barbecue tonight and a campfire.

Steak sandwiches with peppers and onions tonight.
Fried potatoes and peppers, and of course, ice cold beer. Frosted mugs - got 6 in the freezer right now.

neighbors daughter had a going away to college party yesterday. BBQ beer chicken,Usinger brats, and BBQ, corn on the cob, cake and all the trimmings.
I bought a maxi bottle of JB and served over crushed ice. Had plenty of cold beer, player poker and listened to music under a canopy while a fire burned in an outdoor fireplace. (evening)
It was great and we partied to about 11 PM.

Huge T-Storm rolled through last night. One of the worst lightening shows I can remember. High winds, rain. I was taking the garbage out and the whole driveway lit up! Almost had me under the bed for a while!
But, the last three iced mugs kept calling my name.....

When I was 15 (back in 1969) I went to a summer camp located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (on Lake Michigamme, between Marquette and Ishpeming). Two of the younger kids who were there were Fritz Usinger (of the brats you mentioned) and John Stroh (need I say more about that name? ). (If we'd been of drinking age, we could have had some fine cookouts!) I often wonder whether they went into their respective family businesses, or took some other path.
