I agree.
The season has been disappointing, but imo last night's episode was very good.

Finally, the episode many of us were waiting for. Huge time jump in this one towards Breaking Bad. Saul transformation now complete. And I'm sure we'll all miss Kim. Maybe she'll make a quick appearance before BCS ends. And I loved Don Eladio mocking Hector S. with the bell ringing, LOL A very good episode again.

Strange, strange show. It's been the slowest moving good show I've ever seen. And now, they try and wrap it all up in a bow. Killing Kim off would have been much more believable than what's happening now. These writers fell in love with themselves. I'm still watching but it's been disappointing to me.

The writers may have run out of twists, but the acting is still top notch. The one cool twist that they put in was when she said she couldn't continue the case because she's no longer an attorney. I dare you to find anyone who saw that twist coming.

Amen. I guess you can’t kill him off since he ended up on Breaking Bad ……which introduced the character
I hope they round out the character “Mike”.

If the writers stick to the original story line you know how it has to end right?
Saul decides it's time to hit the hyperspace button (1980's Defender arcade game reference) and spends several days with Walter White in the basement of the Marine's vacuum cleaner repair shop while they await new identities.
Afterwards, he ends up managing a Cinnabon at a mall in Omaha.
I recall one of the foreshadowing sequences at the beginning of a past episode where Saul is sitting at a table in the mall food court when an arrest goes down. He draws attention to himself by standing up and shouting to the guy who's being arrested about his rights.
If I had to hazard a guess at how it ends:
Saul might suspect he was made by someone working for the cartel who just happened to be watching the guy who got arrested in that food court scene.
What do you do now that your fake identity is blown?
No matter how the writers decide to wrap it up I'll be watching.
I've really enjoyed every episode of Breaking and Bad Better Call Saul (but haven't had free time to watch beyond episodes 1 and 2 of the current final season yet,) and the movie they made about Jessie's character.

I think we're gonna find out next week what the mysterious phone call was about where Gene smashes up the phone booth. Maybe Kim got remarried? Maybe she told him to leave her alone and move on? We'll see.

Too bad we don’t get to see her get revenge on anybody. That would be cool

It looked like Jesse didn't really want to be there. He also looked about 50 years old. I'll be glad when it's over. This show is like a horse on lead you bet that's desperate for the wire.

I just got caught up (avoiding this thread at all costs along the way...lol)
I've really enjoyed this show throughout all the seasons and this last season is no different.
I don't see how anyone can be middle of the road here. You either love it or hate it. And anyone who is still watching can't hate it...
That scene in the phone booth reminded me of De Niro in Goodfellas...so I kinda had the thought he might have found out Kim was dead.

I'm really looking forward to the last one. I think it has been great, Rhea Seehorn was fabulous in the latest episode.

Guess I was wrong about the Goodfellas tribute...lol
Still can't figure out why Saul looked so angry in the booth two episodes back...what they showed in this latest episode didn't seem to lend itself to that kind of outburst...
She's a great actress, no doubt...I just am not sure I'm buying her extreme character transition since leaving Mr. Goodman...
But I guess if they didn't make that transition, her actions in this episode regarding what happened to Howard would have made zero sense.
