Actually prior to that it has a lot of the characteristics of a tumor.

What was even worse the original SCOTUS decision which had no basis in the Constitution. Now that has been corrected.

It’s a terrible look.
That’s why we need conservative judges on the court. Conservatives understand the constitution, the purpose of amendments, why the amendment process was made so difficult, and try to protect it from liberals.
We can’t have liberal judges that don’t like the rules trying to circumvent the constitution.
If you want to grant a freedom not in the constitution or restrict one away that’s already there, make the case to the people. If enough people agree, then amend the constitution. It’s not that tough to understand unless you are whiny liberal that wants his/her way and wants to impose it on everyone that disagrees.
