Fat-shaming from Thask? Interesting.
I suddenly just recall that I did not include Thunderheart. THAT was a really damn good movie.

I feel his best were when he was supporting an outstanding leading lady. Top Gun: Maverick next year is bound to be another great one.

Not a starring role, but Kilmer was great in True Romance as Clarence's spiritual guide, none other than The King himself, Elvis.

As for starring roles, I always liked Kilmer in Thunderheart alongside the wry acting of Graham Greene

Still can't believe I left out Thunderheart. That was a really damn good movie.
Thought he was really good in The Saint. Cheesey, but he pulled it off. Top Secret was a great spoof movie, and Heat was just a great cast in a really well done movie.
All that said, I'm all in on Tombstone. "I'm your huckleberry" will never be surpassed for Kilmer. A better Doc Holliday will never be seen on a film screen than the one portrayed by none other than Val Kilmer.

Real Genius (for his performance)by a country mile."Top Secret" was funny also but a little disappointing coming from the Airplane creators. However "Bring out the LeRoy Niemann paintings" will always get a chuckle out of me.
Props to "Tombstone" also."Tell Ike Clanton I'm coming. And this time I'm bringing hell with me" Of course Kurt Russell said that line.Russell's mustache alone should have gotten an Oscar nomination.

That mustache was amazing. Needs a museum in and of itself.

True Romance or Heat for best movies
'none', for VK 'performances'
