Tom:
Cloth of Stars bottled up the whole race. Didn't appear to ever get comfortable. Credit to the Winner where credit is deserved however...

See...told you.
I think Thunder Snow was one of my picks in the Derby last year...does that count?

Thunder Snow??? I even heard Steve Byk sort of scoff about him. WOW!! He ran a great race. Nobody was going to get to him today.

Not sure why Castallano was so willing to concede the lead to an outside horse.

Comparison
It will be interesting to see how Mendelssohn's win stacks up figures-wise against Thunder Snow.
Both went wire to wire.
Mendelssohn has to be the classiest shipper into KY Derby ever.
Still, you have to think there be at least one, or two, too good for him.
Post positions and luck in running will be big factors.
