The chart actually says the FIRST fraction, but 1/2 to 6f is ridiculous

Yeah, the half is the hand timed one.

Should have used the $200k for the Grand PRix to buy a decent timer!

NOT a god image for the so called top circuit.

Sounds like more of the same today - first call at 8.5 on the inner....must be the construction.

I didn't watch today. I know they start from pretty much the gate so it always looks slow.

Is that a new gate placement for the 8.5 on the inner? Looked different to me yesterday.

No, they've been using that for a while. It is a pretty goofy set up. Looks like either the opening quarter was fat fingered as the chart shows 25.25 and the video shows 26.25, or it was changed and no note was made in the chart.

Thanks.
I saw the race on the Fox Sports show and it was the first time I had seen them loading right through the rail like that. I thought they made a change.

Andy mentioned something about walking.

I have to wonder why anyone would spend thousands of dollars on a timing system of any kind that had human involvement at a key process step - entering the freaking data!

Another example of why using hand times is worse than using no times at all:

Who could possibly look at these fractions and think they are good?

The good news is that they stated it was hand timed.
Why do they bury the information at the bottom of the footnotes?

Why not put it where the fractions are displayed in bold letters.

Apparently that is the only place available to put it currently. And it never shows up in PPs.

I'm glad you added "currently."
