I can't wait to see the follow-up to this in the weeks and months ahead.

Should make for a quality meme video.

People really need to arm themselves...fast...before that right is taken away too.

I disagree, I think in the honor of DEI and Woke, criminals should be afforded the same opportunities as working people. In manufacturing, of which is my area of advanced knowledge, companies that run what was called a graveyard shift back in the day, threw all kinds of incentives to get people to
work those hours, because most people hated them. Often you could work 6.5 hours and get paid for 8, or you got a couple bucks more an hour (I am talking 30+ years ago) You could also get instant promotions for moving to 3rd shift. A department supervisor could become the 3rd shift plant manager and the pay to go with it.

That being said why should a criminal willing to work crappy hours not be afforded more opportunities? What I don't understand the logic, is it police staffing issues? Obviously I have not been around cops in almost 40 years but back in the day they rotated shifts, has that changed?

As a law abiding citizen I keep abreast of gun laws, when I was doing my cross country moving trips I had to check them in all the states in my path.
I only violated one, when I was at a drive up ATM in East St. Louis, Illinois.
I had a .357 S & W loaded in my lap. I think Ralph told a story about a tourist visit he made there.

Anyway, since I moved to Virginia they no longer allow private gun sales that do not gun through a gun dealer. I sold a gun in a bicycle shop and in a McDonald's parking lot previous to that law change. So that gun law tightened up, but open carry is legal and you now can have a loaded gun in a vehicle as long as it is in a compartment, that does not even need to be locked. When I drove guns to sell they had to be unloaded and the bullets in a separate closed location to the gun with neither being within the driver's reach.
