I would have to say top 2 harness tracks in the states / canada are Woodbine Mohawk and Meadowlands?

Yes correct the only ones that really get any big-time betting handles when they race imo

I am just guessing on this but I would say the list of tracks (like mohawk) for highest handle would go to the tracks that pretty well race all year round no?

Like the Meadowlands and mohawk race all year round plus they host lots of big stakes/events each year so that would make sense as to why they are #1 and #2 for handle

The long Mohawk racing season where races are comprised of horses who have faced each other often on the same race track makes for more interesting handicapping. Mostly the same top twenty or so drivers too.

The coverage is good, intelligent commentary, free programs, nickel breakage, 15% take on some betting and HD video all contribute to the racing experience.

Mohawk simply wants your business more than their competitors.

They want your betting dollars, but not necessarily your on-site attendance. Covid restrictions and lockdowns abound in Canada. They are crazier up there than they are here. The grandstand is closed to the public until further notice.

Tamaharbour You have to understand that WEG is just following Govt. guidelines with regard to Covid.
