Thumbs up

Congrats Vic!

I know very little about Vic's style, but from occasional tidbits, - he seems to be sharp with rare gems; dismissed long-shots that he can see has a certain circumstance or race to run back to or unexposed potential. He's willing to be aggressive with these opinions (rather than tack them on as an afterthought, to a more conventional opinion).

Incredibly astute guy who doesn't just dominate other players, but who has worked and earned handsomely in diverse high-profile roles. His knowledge and versatility simply amaze.

If not mistaken, believe Vic also won the HT pick and pray yesterday too worth another sixteen thousand! The kind of session most of us only dream of. Well done sir. Now go bink the NHC. Obviously you have the talent. You put in the volume. Why not you. Why not now.

Thanks Guys! Truly appreciate the kind words. Special appreciation to Andy Asaro for starting the thread. We've had our differences but at the end of the day were all in the same boat trying to attack the windows.

I won't be playing in the NHC next weekend. The NTRA has offered players the chance to move our entries to the 2022 version next Jan.

With this damn Delta variant and the requisite travel and 600 players in one big room I chickened out and decided to wait.

Wishing everyone who's playing at Bally's this weekend good luck!

Vic is a star in our game, and he's the announcer for Oaklawn.

Perhaps should be getting even more shine and respect from colleagues for his exploits in tournament play over the years?

Astronaut was a huge overlay and Vic did a great job spotting that overlay.

Mark, you've always been incredibly gracious. Not sure I'm worthy of such praise. Thanks very much!

Vic, congrats on your win.

I have always wondered going into the last race in a tournament, does your bet 'change' depending on your current standing and what is needed to win?
