What was the President & CEO of Keeneland talking about?

I was just watching today's Saratoga card on FS2 and they interviewed the President of Keeneland, Shannon Arvin. She seemed to imply that thoroughbred racing needs to retire some of it's traditions in order to move forward and increase its fan base. Did anyone else see this interview? Do I have this right? What to make of it?

My home track is Keeneland. The Track's selection for President has not been received well by many. It is the usual situation of people keeping their opinions to themselves...and the Media being completely silent about it.

I think they want to make it more than just about Horse racing. They want to add more elements of entertainment to enhance the overall experience. Not my cup of tea.

Maybe she was talking about timing the races from the gate.

A drug policy with some teeth to it? Suspensions that matter? Injury reports?

The status quo is working wonderfully, no need to change.
