The galaxies, billions of them, are finite. The universe is infinite.
Probabilities of multiple universes existing are also reasonable.

My day off. Great timing - my blood pressure is at 149 / 96 - down from 179 / 117 last night. Only one phone call all morning. Thinking about taking a nap after Judge Alex delivers his rendering in an hour or so. Then I suppose I better study for work tomorrow. I miss days and days of nothing.

Just as darkness is the "placeholder" for light. "Nothing" precedes "thing"; "darkness" precedes "light"; "ignorance" precedes "knowledge."
