Not so quick. After a weak FBI investigation that turns up zip against Kavanaugh... the Senate will vote and when he's approved with not one Dem... it will further show that obstruction was their end game. And the RED RIP TIDE will rise and the Dem's be flushed .

Shhhhhhhhh
Brett Kavanaugh has already LIED about that in the opening lines of his Nomination Acceptance Speech.
Mr. President, thank you. Throughout this process, I’ve witnessed firsthand your appreciation for the vital role of the American judiciary.
No president has ever consulted more widely, or talked with more people from more backgrounds, to seek input about a Supreme Court nomination.

I think you know what my point was.
But I'll make it as explicit as possible for you.
Like you and I, Kavanaugh knew that Trump picked his name for a Supreme Court nomination from a list.
This list was given to Trump and he had no part in determining which names were on it.
Thus, Kavanaugh knew, that when Trump picked him,
the claim that
" No president has ever consulted more widely, or talked with more people from more backgrounds,
to seek input about a Supreme Court nomination."
was patently false.
To publicly state a claim you know to be false is to publicly LIE.
Thus, Brett Kavanaugh began his Supreme Court nomination speech by publically telling a lie.
Honesty and truthfulness are essential character traits that must be possessed
by anyone who is a worthy and appropriate candidate for a Supreme Court nomination.
In starting off his Supreme Court nomination speech by publically telling a lie,
Brett Kavanaugh publically demonstrated that he is neither honest nor truthful.
Since honesty and truthfulness are essential character traits that must be possessed
by anyone who is a worthy and appropriate candidate for a Supreme Court nomination,
and since Brett Kavanaugh has publically demonstrated that he is neither honest nor truthful,
it is clear to all that Brett Kavanaugh is neither worthy nor fit to be on the Supreme Court.
This is my point.
Is it clear to you now, SMW?

I do not see how the FBI can investigate the current credible allegations without extensive interviewing of Ford and her best friend.
I hope they clarify why she was 'shocked' to learn that Grassley wrote 3 letters and emails to her 'lawyers' offering to fly a group anywhere to interview her, so that it did not have to be public.
Either she is a pathological liar, 'her' pro bono lawyers have been doing unethical things that could get them disbarred, or she is schizophrenic.
It also would be interesting to find out about her 'gofundme' pages, gathering over a half a million for her expenses and another $200,000 for her security.

Honesty?? What do you know about honesty? You are so slick, so oily, you qualify as an alternative fuel source...

Now Tom, you know that isn't true.
Didn't your mother teach you that it isn't nice to tell lies about other people?
Lying doesn't get you what you want, anyway.
Look where lying has gotten poor Brett Kavanaugh.

Any proof of this statement, or just another lightweight opinion?

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...-drinking-game
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse said Friday that he believes
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh misled the Senate Judiciary Committee
about the meaning of the term "devil's triangle" as written in his high school yearbook.
Kavanaugh testified Thursday that “devil’s triangle” referred to a game similar to “quarters,” in which players bounce coins into a glass.
The term “devil’s triangle” is commonly known to refer to a sexual act with two men and one woman.
"I don't believe 'boof' is flatulence, said Whitehouse.
I don't believe a 'devil's triangle' is a drinking game, and
I don't believe calling yourself a girl's 'alumnius' is being her friend,”
the Rhode Island senator said
as the Judiciary Committee prepared to vote on Kavanaugh, who defended the yearbook references as innocent.
Like Doofus Drumph, Brett Kavanaugh just hasn't got the knack for telling minimally plausible lies.
Apart from the fact that publically lying is so unbefitting of a Supreme Court Justice nominee, why is Brett Kavanaugh lying anyway?
If he is as innocent as he claims he is, why isn't Brett Kavanaugh just telling the truth?

I guess it's a good thing that, unlike Brett Kavanaugh, I'm not nominated for a position on the Supreme Court.
So I don't have to live up to the lofty ethical standards that go along with that high-profile position.
He does.
In any case, RR, and you should know this is coming by now.
Focus on the substance of the comments, please.
If they are implausible, explain why.
Don't waste time bringing my character into question.
You are just making it obvious to all that you have nothing useful to add here.

Eats at ya, don't it. Post a few more lame insults. It'll make you feel like your opinion matters.
...oh wait...insults reflect low self-esteem.
Like I told Tom, you need to just lay back and enjoy it.

Dud, you have NO character to bring into question.
If the FBI investigation comes back clean, for the seventh time, you'll be on board with Kavenaugh being approved. Right?
